Labrador takes 2-shot cushion

Loyd Labrador fired a second-straight three-under-par 66 to take a two-shot lead over John Michael Uy and Chris John Remata in the second round of the Northern Luzon regional championships at Camp John Hay Golf Club in Baguio City on Wednesday.

Labrador now has a 36-hole total of 132 with Uy and Remata sharing second spot following a 64 and 65, respectively.

Jhondie Quibol carded a 68 take solo fourth on 135.

In women’s play, Abby Abarcas turned in a 70 to pull away from Julianna Go by eight shots.
