The wait is over.
The MP Turbo Racing School of Champions, initially postponed, is now set to take place on Saturday, 3 June at the R33 Drift Track in San Simon, Pampanga.
The full-day event will provide a platform for both novice and experienced drivers to learn and enhance their racing skills.
The MP Turbo team of instructors, including renowned champions Carlos and Inigo Anton, will guide participants through a series of modules. These modules will cover critical areas such as braking, slalom, driving lines, and dynamics on the tarmac. Individual sessions for advanced racers will also be available.
Mike Potenciano, along with Carlos and Inigo Anton, will spearhead the event. Potenciano, a veteran in Philippine motorsports, has been instrumental in promoting and developing the sport in the country. His MP Turbo initiative is a testament to this commitment.
Carlos Anton, a seasoned racing driver, will bring his invaluable experience to the table. As a mentor, he will provide participants with a unique opportunity to learn from a professional racer.
Inigo Anton, Carlos’ son, has already proven himself in the world of motorsports. His participation as an instructor, despite his young age, will provide a fresh perspective to those looking to start their racing careers.
The event is structured to provide maximum value to its participants. The morning sessions will focus on instructional modules, while the afternoon will be dedicated to practical time trials, including the Arrive and Drive and Superbattle Shakedowns.
Additional perks for early registrants include event T-shirts, lunch packs, and snacks. The registration fee of 5k can be conveniently paid through GCash or bank transfer. Participants are required to bring their own car, helmet, and gloves. For those who do not own a helmet, the organizers will provide some. To ensure ample track time for everyone, the slots for this event are limited. The day will conclude with the awarding of trophies to the winners of the time trials in a separate event.
Special thanks go to Raymond Ronquillo, the owner of R33, for supporting the event and helping promote motorsports in the country. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from the best.
