For the Filipinos, Christmas starts when the “ber” months begin. It’s about to get a lot more festive as Ford Philippines revived the Truck Month — a showcasing of deals for potential buyers of the famous Ford Ranger.

Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines, made that announcement recently.

“We are thrilled to make our customers feel the joyous spirit with the Ford Truck Month where our big deals are back for the Ford Ranger. We are excited about this year’s Truck Month as it’s the first time we are extending special deals across our entire Ranger portfolio,” Breen said.

Set to run from 4 to 30 September, this event unfolds a generous set of promotional deals ranging from cash discounts, favorable downpayment terms, to competitive monthly payment rates and additional service provisions.

Ford’s offerings during this period are indeed substantial. Customers stand to benefit from a cash discount up to P50,000 upon purchasing a Ford Ranger. The deal sweetens with options for an all-in downpayment of P98,000 or even a monthly installment as low as P11,111.

For those mulling over specific Ranger models, Ford presents an array of financial incentives.

The Ranger 2.0L Bi-Turbo Wildtrak 4×4 10AT is available with a P40,000 cash discount, a P175,000 all-in downpayment, and a monthly installment of P19,645. The Ranger 2.0L Wildtrak 4×2 6AT, Ranger 2.0L Sport 4×4 6AT, and Ranger 2.0L Sport 4×2 6AT all come with a P20,000 cash discount.

Their respective all-in downpayments are P165,000, P165,000, and P152,000, with monthly payments of P16,786, P16,893 and P15,606. Offering even more enticing rates, the Ranger 2.0L XLT 4×2 6AT features a P40,000 discount, a P120,000 downpayment, and a P13,947 monthly rate.

Both the Ranger 2.0L XLS 4×2 6AT and Ranger 2.0L XLS 4×2 6MT have a P50,000 cash discount, with downpayments of P105,000 and P98,000, and monthly installments of P13,144 and P12,340, respectively. The base Ranger 2.0L XL 4×4 6MT model also offers a P50,000 cash reduction, a P98,000 all-in downpayment, and a P11,111 monthly installment rate.

Elevating the significance of the Ford Truck Month, Breen further emphasizes the Ranger’s significance in the local automotive landscape.

“The Ford Ranger is a well-loved truck in the country. In celebration of its popularity among Filipinos, we are making it accessible for more customers to own a Ranger with Truck Month, where they can enjoy various ownership packages and offers. Now is really the best time to get a Ranger,” Breen said.

This statement gains credibility as one reflects on the Ford Ranger’s recent performance in the Philippine market. The first half of 2023 bore witness to the model’s impressive sales trajectory. As Ford’s top-selling vehicle in the Philippines, the Ranger’s sales soared by 25 percent year-on-year, tallying up to 5,436 units sold.
