Bianca Pagdanganan comes out of a five-week layoff in the CP Women’s Open that kicks off Thursday at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ottawa, Canada.
The 24-year-old Filipina last saw action in July during the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational where she missed the cut despite shooting eight-under par 62 in the second round.
Pagdanganan will start on the 10th hole at 1:59 p.m. in the company of Caroline Masson and Giulia Molinaro.
She has so far played 12 events in the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour, making the cut only six times.
Her best finish was joint 22nd in the Cognizant Founders Cup last May. She earned $27,587.
She made the cut in two majors — KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and US Women’s Open.
Also returning to action is Yuka Saso whose world ranking has fallen to No. 29 after missing the cut five times in her last eight outings.
The 20-year-old Filipino-Japanese will tee off at 8:16 a.m. alongside Andrea Lee and Ariya Jutanugarn.
The world’s top four golfers — Jin Young Ko, Minjee Lee, Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko — banner a star-studded cast.
American Danielle Kang, on the other hand, will make her first appearance since announcing that she had a tumor on her spine during the US Women’s Open last June.
The 72-hole event stakes a total purse of $2.5 million.
