Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Eumir Marcial is already neck-deep in training in Las Vegas.
While most of the United States-based Filipino boxers camp out in Los Angeles and Miami, the former world junior champion seems to be liking it a lot in Sin City.
There is no definite date as to when the southpaw middleweight is returning to the ring but it could be as early as 8 October in Carson, California.
Marcial left the Philippines about two weeks in search of a third professional bout.
After formally turning pro in December 2020, Marcial devoted his time to representing the country in various international meets, including the Tokyo Olympics and the Hanoi Southeast Asian Games where he won gold again.
In his second pro match, Marcial had to rise from three knockdowns to stop Isiah Hart last April.
The 8 October show Marcial is targeting will feature his buddy, former world champion Jerwin Ancajas, who will attempt to regain the world title against Argentine Fernando Martinez at the Dignity Health Sports Park.
