Juvic Pagunsan wrapped up his campaign in the 38th Shinhang Donghae Open with a closing three-under-par 68 at the Koma Country Club in Nara, Japan Sunday.

The 44-year-old Filipino veteran broke par in each of the four rounds to finish on 13-under, joining three other players in 27th place.

Pagunsan missed only three greens and four fairways but made an uncharacteristic double bogey on 7 and took a three-putt bogey on 11.

He opened his round with birdie-bogey before picking up birdies on 3 and 6. The double brought him back to even par at the turn.

Pagunsan again started the back nine with eagle-bogey before finishing strong with birdies on 14, 17 and 18.

Despite the three-putt miscue, he finished the round with 29 putts, including nine one-putts.

Pagunsan was tied with Japanese Yuto Katsuragawa, Yosuke Tsukada and Yuki Inamori and Malaysian Nicholas Fung.

Katsuragawa, who honed his skills as a member of Manila Southwoods in Carmona, Cavite, shot a 67 .

Tsukada carded a 68, Inamori turned in a 71 while Fung returned a 67.

Japanese Kazuki Higa knocked in seven birdies against a single bogey to finish on 65 and 20-under total, two shots behind Korean Mingyu Cho, Canadian Yonggu Shin and overnight Thai leader Tirawat Kaewsiribandit.

Cho made six birdies against a bogey to settle for 66, Shin shot a 68 while Kaewsiribandit tallied a 72.
