Azkals lose match vs Oman, 0-3

The Azkals U19 suffered a 0-3 loss against Oman in their first game at the Asian Football Confederation U20 Asian Cup qualifiers at the Al-Saadah Sports Complex in Salalah, Oman early Thursday (Manila time).

Nasser Ali got things going for Oman after scoring in the seventh minute before Khalid Ibrahim made it 2-0 five minutes later.

Ali Hassan then scored a goal for Oman in the 29th minute as the Philippines did not wasn’t able to make any goals for the rest of the match.

Both Omar and Thailand are at the upper half of Group G after winning their respective matches while the Philippines and Afghanistan dropped their opening games.
