Fiery Parks, Nagoya beat Mikawa in JBL opener

The Nagoya Diamond Dolphins kicked off their campaign on a high note with a 101-86 win over Sea Horses Mikawa at the Japanese B. League at the Dolphins Arena in Nagoya Thursday evening.

Coty Clarke led Nagoya with a double double game of 24 points and 11 rebounds while Maurice Ndour dropped 16 markers, three boards and three assists.

Holding a 28-25 lead in the second quarter, the Dolphins pulled away with a 12-2 run capped with a Yutaro Suda triple and never looked back.

Ray Parks Jr. added 14 points, one rebound and four assist.

Anthony Lawrence Ⅱ had 18 points for Mikawa in a losing effort.
