Letran College showed its championship poise during twilight zone, pulling off a 74-66 win over College of Saint Benilde in Season 98 National Collegiate Athletic Association men’s basketball tournament at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan yesterday.

Down by three, 63-60, in the fourth quarter, Kurt Reyson led a 12-0 run as he capped the onslaught with a pair of free throws with 17.2 seconds left in the game, 72-63.

“I just made myself available. I’m a catch-and-shoot guy and I was given the green light to knock down shots when I’m open,” said Reyson, who had 14 points for Letran.
