CJHH, BBB pace A divisions

Baguio City — Camp John Hay Hotels and Baguio Blue Bloods paced their respective divisions in the 72nd Fil-Am Men’s International golf team championships in Baguio City Tuesday.

CJHH took a seven-point lead over Hotel Bahia in the Fil-A division with a three-round total of 282.

Led by Ramon Luis Garcia’s 22 points, CJHH collected 71 points at the Baguio Country Club. The other scorers were Federico Mandapat with 19, Shean Bedi and Ronald Samaniego with 15 points apiece.

Hotel Bahia, powered by Tony Olives’ 20 points, scored 75 while Robros-JV Golf Team 1 was in third spot with 245 after posting 74 points.

In Am-A class, Rudy Lockey fired 27 points at Camp John Hay to power Baguio Blue Bloods to a five-point lead over Project Lasarus.

BBB picked up 91 points to bring its total to 242.

Other scorers were Mauricio Domogan 23, Nelson Eslao 22, and Romeo Aquino 19.

Project Lasarus drew 25 points from Marietto Valerio to match BBB’s output and move to 237.

Camp John Hay Team 1 was on top in Am-B with 326 points, 53 points ahead of second-running Baguio Country Club Team 1. Filgolfers of Hawaii Team 1 was third with 253.

In the Am-B division, MCG Mimosa was 12 points ahead of Camp John Hay Team 2, posting 264 points, including 85 at CJH. Third was A1 MGC with 233.

Team City of Vallejo Team 1 led Fil-C with 257, nine points clear of Sandigan Golfers Team 1. In third was Fil-Am Golfers of Florida Team 1 with 235 points.

In Am-C, Baguio Country Club 2 pooled 227 for the lead followed by Solid North Transit and Davao Eaglemasters II with 211 and 206, respectively.

In the regular Fil-F division, Nueva Ecija Travellers was ahead with 205, relegating Redcore and Team Banh Mi to second and third with 197 and 193, respectively.

Maharlika Roast Beef led Fil-F class with 183 followed by NBI Team 157-Reg 174 and Ismael CPA/Amigos 164.

Razcals Winaca and Vancouver Horizon Golf Association paced the Am-F and Am-G, respectively.
