JRU guard John Amores received a letter from none other than Vice President Sara Duterte following his recent outburst in NCAA Season 98.
In a social media post, Amores thanks Duterte, who is also the secretary for the Department of Education, for encouraging him to keep up with his reformation.
“It’s my pleasure receiving this kind of gesture from our Dearly VP Sarah Duterte
“‘Remember the lesson not the mistake,You have a friend from the Office of the Vice President.’ It was a great honor Mam thank you for those words of encouragement.”
Amores has been taken off from the Heavy Bombers roster after running amok during their games against College of Saint Benilde last November.
He is currently undergoing psychological and anger management sessions in order as he works on getting back to the court for JRU as he is still indefinitely suspended from playing from the NCAA.
Amores has also recently apologized to the Blazers last month and will face the charges filed by Saint Benilde players Jimboy Pasturan and Taine Davis.
