With rock and roll music from Joan Jett & and the Blackhearts blaring from the speakers, Manny Pacquiao got up Tuesday morning and rode the treadmill before showing up for workout in the afternoon.
Pacquiao, who battles mixed-martial arts expert DK Yoo in a special exhibition fight this Sunday, arrived at Incheon International Airport Monday night from Manila.
His party was immediately brought to the classy Sono Calm Goyang where Pacquiao and his entourage will be residing the next few days.
Though this weekend’s event is a mere exhibition, Pacquiao is not taking things for granted knowing that Yoo will enter the ring armed to the teeth after two months of hard training under a former Korean world champion.
This will be Pacquiao’s first trip to the ring after losing the world welterweight crown to Yordenis Ugas of Cuba 16 months again Las Vegas.
While insisting that he is officially retired from boxing, Pacquiao lately has been hinting about a possible ring return in 2023.
Pacquiao, the only fighter to win eight world titles in as many weight classes, is turning 44 on 17 December.
