Filipino fighter Vincent Astrolabio and Nikolai Potapov of Russia are ready to rumble in Las Vegas.
During the official weighin, both boxers came in at 117.5 lbs for their International Boxing Federation bantamweight title elimination bout at The Cosmopolitan Hotel.
Astrolabio, who fights under the star-studded MP Promotions banner, will be making his United States debut.
But he is not climbing the ring to serve as cannon fodder for the Brooklyn-based Potapov.
For one month, Astrolabio had to push himself to the limit by working with top strength and conditioning coach Memo Heredia in Sin City.
Heredia is the same fitness expert who toughened up Juan Manuel Marquez in his fourth showdown with Manny Pacquiao in 2012.
Astrolabio will get pointers in the corner from the veteran tactician Nonoy Neri, who is a member of the elite training corps handling Pacquiao.
