Azkals batter Brunei

The Philippine Azkals battered Brunei, 5-1, in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on 23 December.

Kenshiro Daniels opened the floodgates in the seventh minute before Sandro Reyes scored his first international goal to make it 2-0.

Jesus Joaquin Mellisza added another point, 3-0, for the Azkals in the 50th minute before Jams Rammussen fired a brace in the 52nd and 88th minutes.

Ramizie Ramlli was the lone Bruneian to score in the match in the 70th minute.

The Azkals will face defending champion Thailand on 26 December.
