Marcelo hoists MGU Thanksgiving Cup crown

Jessie Marcelo edged fellow pro Michael Bibat via countback to win the Open division of the 2022 Metro Golfers Union Yearend Thanksgiving Cup at Club Intramuros golf course in Manila Friday.
Marcelo and Bibat fired seven-under-par 59 apiece.

National players Carl Corpus and Aidric Chan finished 1-2 in Division 1, each posting 59.
