F2 Logistics launched a massive revamp in a bid to win its first title in the Premier Volleyball League.
In a social media post, the Cargo Movers announced that they have already released middle blockers Des Clemente and Chloe Cortez as well as setters Rem Cailing and Alex Cabanos in the upcoming season of the country’s professional women’s volleyball league that starts on 4 February.
They have also let go wing spikers Dzi Gervacio and Tin Tiamzon while tapping former National University head coach Regine Diego.
Diego, who played college volleyball under Ramil de Jesus at De La Salle University and powered National University to a 14-0 sweep of the University Athletic Association Season 82 girls volleyball tournament, will take over the coaching reins from Benson Bocboc.
She will take over an F2 squad that still has team captain Aby Marano, Dawn Macandili, Kim Fajardo, and Kianna Dy.
Myla Pablo is also set to join the Cargo Movers after leaving Petro Gazz.
Meanwhile, PLDT signed Michelle Morente and Ysa Jimenez.
The High Speed Hitters announced the development, saying that the former Ateneo de Manila University standout will banner them under head coach Rald Ricafort.
Jimenez, for her part, will relinquish her remaining playing years with the Golden Tigresses to play professionally.
Both Morente and Jimenez will join Mika Reyes and Rhea Dimaculangan in the PLDT squad that aims to surpass its last year’s performance.
