Blacklist enters M4 Grand Final

SOCIAL MEDIA

Blacklist International remained in the hunt for a second straight crown after beating ECHO, 3-2, to advance to the Grand Final of the M4 Mobile Legends World Championship Friday evening at Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The reigning titlist beat their compatriot in a neck-and-neck all-Filipino battle for its second straight championship appearance.

After splitting the first two games, Blacklist International bannered its signature hero Estes in Game 5 backed by Yve, Fredrinn, Gloo, and Brody.

On point with their team fights and objectives, the repeat-seeking squad needed just 12 minutes to end the series.

“We are both Philippine teams so we’re very familiar with each other. Game 1 served as a chance for us to gauge each other and then we went all-in in the next games,” Blacklist International head coach BON CHAN said after the match.

Though defeated, ECHO still has a chance to forge a final meeting with its tormentor after getting relegated to the lower bracket final.

The Filipinos will face the winner between Indonesian teams ONIC Esports and RRQ Hoshi on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
