Fiipino imports shone as the Asia All-Stars carved a 118-114 win over the Rising Stars in the Japanese B.League All-Star Game at the Adastria Mito Arena Friday night.
Matthew Wright of Kyoto Hannaryz flirted with a double-double for the Asia All-Stars with 14 points and nine rebounds.
Altiri Chiba’s Kobe Paras dropped 12 points while Greg Slaughter of Fukuoka had 12 markers and nine boards.
Bobby Ray Parks Jr. of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and Nagasaki Velca’s Jordan Heading scored 11 points each.
Kiefer Ravena of Shiga Lakes, who had eight points, enjoyed putting up a show for the audience in attendance.
“I had so much fun tonight, I hope everybody enjoyed it,” Ravena said.
His brother Thirdy Ravena of San-en NeoPhoenix dropped seven points, five assists, and four rebounds.
Taiki Okada of Sendai scored 26 points for the Rising Stars while Mikawa’s Yudai Nishida added 18 markers.
