Pueblo de Oro champions Brie Macasaet and Stephanie Gan headline the cast in the JGFP Riviera Sports Junior Open at the Riviera Sports Club in Cavite on Sunday.
Macasaet will see action in the girls’ 7-8 division while Gan competes in the girls’ 6-and-under.
There will also be competitions in the boys’ 7-8 and 6-and-under categories.
The event also serves as the Valentine tournament of the Junior Golf Association of the Philippines.
Participants are enjoined to come in red or pink.
The 18-hole tournament will serve as a tuneup event for the IMG Academy qualifying tournament slated from 24 to 26 February also at the same venue.
Three slots to the Junior World Championships in San Diego, California will be up for grabs in the 6-and-under, 7-8 and 9-10 divisions for both boys and girls.
