Mapua University survived a heart-stopping 24-26, 25-21, 25-27, 25-21, 15-12 win over San Sebastian College in NCAA Season 98 women’s volleyball tournament at the San Andres Complex in Manila Sunday.

Hannah de Guzman fired 19 attacks and one kill block as the Lady Cardinals picked up their second win in three games this season.

Already at match point, 14-9, the Lady Stags fired three straight points to keep themselves afloat.

Season 97 second Best Middle Blocker Nicole Ong then fired a quick kill to end the match.

Kristine Dionisio’s 26-point outburst was futile as San Sebastian sank to its third straight loss.
