Rianne Malixi and Lois Kaye Go bounced back with identical four-under-par 68s but stayed seven shots behind Thai leader Eila Galitsky after the second round in the women’s golf event of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Tuesday.

Malixi went bogey-free while making four birdies while Go had five birdies against one bogey as both Filipinas sit on 4-under 142, good for a share of fifth spot.

However, Galitsky followed a 69 with a 66 to storm in front on 135, one shot ahead of Malaysian Ng Jing Xuen who had a 69.

In third place on 139 was Singapore’s Aloysa Margiela Mabutas Atienza who carded a 68.

In men’s play, Enrique Dimayuga fired a 68 to move to seventh on 141, seven shots off Vietnamese Khanh Hung Le who sizzled for a 65.

Dimayuga, who plays for University of Arkansas, made five birdies against a single bogey.

Aidric Chan stood on 144 despite a 68 while Luigi Paolo Wong and Jaden Dumdumaya were tied on 146.

Wong struggled with a 76 while Dumdumaya rallied in the back nine to salvage a 71.
