The recent 2023 Trans Sport Show at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City was a showcase that spanned decades of automotive design, from timeless classics to high-performance contemporaries. The event was a testament to the rich and varied automotive culture that thrives in the Philippines.
In a remarkable display of craftsmanship, Alex Car Restoration and Modification Service Inc. sparkled in several categories, winning multiple awards. Their skills were lauded by spectators and judges alike, resulting in an impressive number of wins that testified to their prowess.
Their standout entry, the 2023 Lamborghini Urus in striking orange, claimed the prestigious “Best Of Show Contemporary”.
The trophy was a validation of their ability to blend modern aesthetics with performance enhancements, which they achieved through a standout body kit and earned them a “Best Bodykit” award.
Their other entries, a white 1972 Datsun 240Z and a black 1955 Ford Thunderbird, won the “Best Of Show Nostalgic” and “American Classic,” respectively.
Their masterful restorations of these vehicles illustrated a respect for historical craftsmanship while introducing modern refinements, an approach that found favor with the judges. In addition, their black 2014 Land Rover Defender 90 stood tall in its category, adding another trophy to their collection.
But the Trans Sport Show was about more than just the winners.
Other participants showcased equally inspiring efforts in a variety of categories.
Club 300’s yellow 2022 Lamborghini Huracan STO secured the “Best Tuner” title, thanks to impressive performance engine tuning.
Meanwhile, the “Best in Paint” was a Nori Green 2012 Toyota Landcruiser Prado VX 3.0 by Global Elite Lifestyle/TJM 4×4 Philippines, praised for its striking paint job.
Hublink Trading Corporation also earned recognition in the form of “Reserved Best Of Show Nostalgic” for their white 1980 Toyota Corolla Trueno, which demonstrated a meticulously crafted engine and earned them a “Best Engine Display” award.
The lone EV entry ElectriCars Innovations Inc. turned up with three modified electric cars including a 1965 Triumph Spitfire and an SW20 Toyota MR2. They, however, bagged the class win for the EV Class with their eye-catching yellow 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle.
There were awards for categories catering to every automotive interest.
Autobot Offroad PH x Team Ridemax PH’s black 2023 Ford Everest and 2023 Ford Ranger secured wins in the “Ford Everest” and “Ford Ranger” categories, respectively.
The “Hypercar V12” was won by Emperor Motorsports Shop’s Silver 2021 Lamborghini Aventador, while the “Japanese ’80s Compact” win went to Autobath by 3JL’s red 1990 Toyota Corolla.
The 2023 Trans Sport Show was an automotive extravaganza that celebrated the passion and creativity of car enthusiasts.
Alex Car Restoration and Modification Service Inc. emerged as the clear star of the show, with the most awards to their name.
However, every participant and attendee contributed to the event’s success.
