Ricar Candinato and Edison Tabalin combined for a one-under-par 71 under the alternate-shot format to win the Professional Golfers Association of the Philippines pro-am tournament at the Aoki course of the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Thursday.
Candinato and Tabalin finished 36 holes on 8-under 136 to edge Omar Dungca and Kojie Santos by one shot.
Dungca and Santos shot a 76 to settle for second spot, a stroke ahead of Arnold Villacencio and Christian Remata who carded a 75.
Candinato and Tabalin earned the P80,000 top purse.
