The world title bid of little-known Filipino fighter Regie Sunganob has been moved to 2 July.
The venue would still be East London in South Africa, home to reigning International Boxing Federation light-flyweight champion Sivenathi Nontshinga.
Originally scheduled to happen on 16 June, organizers had to postpone it owing to television broadcast issues.
The handlers of Sunganob, a native of Dauis, Bohol, could end up calling it off if the team doesn’t get their plane tickets on time.
Sunganob is unbeaten with a record of 13-0 with four knockouts and he earned the crack at the IBF 108-lb strap after beating compatriot Mark Vicelles in their title eliminator last February.
Like his Filipino rival, Nontshinga also packs an immaculate slate of 11-90 with nine wins inside the distance.
The Philippines currently has one world champion in two-belt super-bantamweight ruler Marlon Tapales.
