Alex Eala barges into the semifinal of the W100 Vitoria-Gasteiz women’s singles tournament after a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win over hometown bet Lucia Cortez Llorca in the quarterfinal at the Peña Vitoriana Tennis Club in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain Friday evening (Manila time).
This is currently the deepest run for Eala in a $100,000 tournament and is gunning for her fourth professional title.
