Amid much anticipation, Chevrolet Philippines introduced the all-new, next-generation Chevrolet Trax on 4 July 2023, marking its first launch in Southeast Asia.
It’s a vehicle that represents a considerable shift in Chevrolet’s approach to the compact crossover market. On the heels of this exciting reveal, Chevrolet Philippines, under the stewardship of The Covenant Car Company Inc. has embarked on an extensive Trax roadshow tour.
These events, taking place in selected malls, offer customers the unique opportunity to explore and experience the dynamic nature of the 2024 Chevrolet Trax Crossover SUV in person.
The Chevrolet Trax represents a striking departure from previous iterations, marrying a pioneering design ethos with innovative technologies.
The new model asserts its presence with a longer, wider stance, underpinning the promise of a more roomy, comfortable and exhilarating driving experience.
Under the hood, the Trax is powered by a state-of-the-art, next-generation 1.2L turbocharged direct-injection engine that delivers up to 137 hp and 220 Nm of torque, seamlessly paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the sporty aesthetic persists with a driver-centric cockpit equipped with a high-definition digital cluster display and a generously sized infotainment touchscreen. Comfort hasn’t been compromised in favor of sportiness, though, with leather-style seats promising a refined touch.

To truly understand the allure of the Chevrolet Trax, though, a personal encounter is a must. That’s where the Trax Roadshow comes into the picture.
The roadshow began at the Power Plant Mall in Makati City, running from 14 to 16 July. It is set to continue its journey over the next few weeks, showcasing the Trax’s innovative design and features across multiple venues,
The Trax then graced the Atrium at SM Aura from 20 to 26 July, catching the eyes of shoppers and automotive enthusiasts alike.
After a brief hiatus, the roadshow is scheduled to resume at the Eastwood Mall from 11 to 13 August before heading to Angeles City, where it will take up residence at the Marquee Mall from 17 to 20 August.
Then, it will move south to the Alabang Town Center, with the exhibition running from 25 to 27 August.
Finally, the tour will conclude at Robinsons Magnolia, where the 2024 Chevrolet Trax Crossover SUV will be on display from 28 August to 6 September, ensuring even more people have the opportunity to experience this exciting new vehicle.
