Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. has taken a significant step toward enlarging its footprint in the country with the initiation of the Hyundai Marilao project.
The groundbreaking ceremony held on 28 July signaled the commencement of a new alliance with the ANC+ Group of Companies.
This important occasion was marked by the presence of influential figures within HMPH and ANC.
Among those in attendance were Dongwook Lee, president of HMPH; Cecil Capacete, managing director; as well as Anthony Cheng, president and chairman of ANC; Dr. Mike Tan, executive vice president; Minnie Valencia-Bustamante, managing director; and Timothy Cheng, vice chairman.
Addressing those gathered, Lee pronounced a warm welcome, stating: “We are very pleased to welcome not just the city of Marilao to our roster of dealerships, but also the ANC+ Group of Companies to our expanding network.
“Hyundai Motor wishes to contribute and help accelerate the progress in the province of Bulacan through innovative and sustainable products, spaces and services. So, we look forward to working alongside ANC on this.”
The event is symbolic of Hyundai’s intention to expand its reach into regions beyond Metro Manila, as well as solidify its presence in the ever-growing industrial landscape of the Philippines.
The province of Bulacan has evolved over the years into a major industrial hub, with its geographical position serving as a strategic linkage to the Northern Philippines. This has led to the development of numerous industrial estates and parks. Hyundai’s move to Marilao is an astute response to the increased demands of the Bulaceño residents and business community.
The partnership with ANC is vital to Hyundai’s growth plan, as it represents a concerted effort to cater to a diverse and evolving market.
ANC’s support, reflected in the contract signing for a new outlet in Abad Santos, set to open in the first quarter of 2024, indicates a mutual commitment to expanding both companies’ reach within the region.
Hyundai’s venture into Marilao is more than a business expansion; it represents a conscious effort to contribute positively to the social and economic fabric of the province.
By offering innovative and sustainable automotive solutions, Hyundai aims to empower the local community and foster economic development. This move can be seen as a strategic alignment with the broader industrialization trends in the Philippines.
Moreover, the collaboration between Hyundai and ANC underlines a shared vision of growth and innovation. Both companies have identified the potential in leveraging their respective strengths to create value for customers.
Hyundai’s technical expertise, combined with ANC’s local market knowledge, offers an opportunity to provide tailored automotive solutions to meet the unique needs of the Bulaceño community.
The groundbreaking ceremony for Hyundai Marilao is not merely an expansion of Hyundai’s dealership network but a strong statement of intent. It reflects a shared ambition to innovate, grow, and contribute positively to the economic and social advancement of Bulacan province.
As Hyundai Motor Philippines continues to solidify its presence in the Philippines after just one year of being in the market, its partnership with ANC+ Group of Companies shows their shared commitment to innovation, community engagement, and long-term growth.
