Philippine Arena makes history with largest FIBA World Cup attendance

BOCAUE, Bulacan – A new milestone was set here in the Philippine Arena as 38,115 antendees watched the game between Gilas Pilipinas and the Dominican Republic in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

This broke the previous record was back in the 1994 World Cup in Canada at 32,616 people attended the championship match between the United States and Russia.
