Blizzard Entertainment is looking to spoil Diablo players with fresh content like never before.
Since the official release of Diablo 4 last June, fans have consistently craved new updates and in-game content.
Their craving was met with the game’s inaugural Season of the Malignant. Turns out, there will be more than just regular seasons coming according to Diablo 4 general manager Rod Fergusson.
“When you look at the launch of the game and this first season, we see that as building a foundation on which we can build for the future. So, as we look at our quarterly seasons, and we look at our annual expansions, those are the things that we’re really focused on for our live service,” Fergusson told Dexerto.
This is not the first time that Diablo is getting an expansion.
Diablo 1, 2, and 3 all enjoyed Hellfire, Lord of Destruction, and Reaper of Souls expansions, respectively. Those expansions, however, were a one-time deal and took plenty of time to come out.
With hundreds of thousands of players still logging in to Diablo 4 on a daily basis, Fergusson believes that it is high time to provide their hardcore community the love they deserve.
