Emerging from the global challenges of supply chain disruptions, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. now assures Filipino consumers of a steady supply of the new HR-V, responding to its increasing demand.

There are a number of notable attributes making this model a top contender for those eyeing a subcompact crossover.

One of the most evident features is its exterior. The Honda HR-V isn’t just another car on the block.

With its sharp, contemporary design, it stands as a modern-day embodiment of Honda’s design philosophy. LED headlights, complete with Daytime Running Lights and turn signals, alongside LED foglights are standard, illuminating the road ahead.

The integrated front grille, combined with the Amp Up design logo, particularly on the RS Turbo and V Turbo variants, gives it a distinct identity. Complementing this is the purposefully crafted body, 17-inch wheels, and a ground clearance of 196mm for specific models.

A stylish tailgate and full LED taillights are the finishing touches, ensuring that the HR-V looks as good departing as it does arriving.

It’s clear that Honda has put significant thought into crafting a space that’s both comfortable and functional. Taking cues from a human-centric design approach, the cabin boasts an 8-inch touchscreen display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Honda understands the diverse needs of drivers and passengers, as seen with the inclusion of the ULT Seats. This allows for a host of configurations, from maximizing cargo space to accommodating taller items, adhering to Honda’s “man maximum-machine minimum” principle.

Beneath the hood, potential owners have two engine options. The S variant comes equipped with a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, boasting 119 hp at 6,600 rpm.

For those craving more power, the V and RS models house a 1.5L DOHC VTEC Turbo 4-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power output of 174 hp at 6000 rpm. The Continuously Variable Transmission ensures smooth shifts and impressive fuel efficiency.

Safety, an uncompromisable aspect, has also been a focal point for the new HR-V. With Honda’s introduction of the SENSING suite, owners will benefit from advanced safety measures like the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System and more.

Additionally, features such as Vehicle Stability Assist and Hill Start Assist enhance the driving experience. All these innovations culminate in the HR-V achieving a commendable 5-star rating from the ASEAN NCAP.

The Honda HR-V is available in three variants, each with its distinct price point. Color options range from Ignite Red Metallic, available for all variants, to the Crystal Black Pearl exclusive to the RS.

For those seeking a hint of luxury, Premium Opal White Silver Pearl and Platinum White Pearl are available at an additional cost.
