AP Bren ends drought after TNC win, ONIC reverse sweeps RSG

SOCIAL MEDIA

AP Bren is back to its winning ways following a sweep over TNC Pro Team on Week 4 Day 1 of MPL Season 12 on Friday evening at Shooting Gallery Studio in Makati.

Coming off a winless run last week, AP Bren opted to bench Flap and play Pando for the first time in the season. The substitution proved effective for the team, as Pando rallied the squad and made it difficult for TNC the whole night with his split push en route to a 2-0 win.

“I am so happy because I have been wanting to play. I also wanted to get even with TNC because the last game last season we lost when I played,” Pando said after the game.

AP Bren team captain Pheww, meanwhile, explained that their losing skid in Week 3 was because of their inability to adjust to the latest patch.

“During Week 3 there was a huge patch and we were unable to use it. We gave away good support [heroes] such as Angela who was abused by our opponents. When we lost to Omega we started to overthink what to [heroes] to use,” Pheww explained.

Earlier in the day, ONIC PH scored its fourth straight victory when it pulled off a reverse sweep over RSG PH. They now sit at no.2 just behind the still unbeaten ECHO followed by AP Bren.
