Carlos Yulo suffered a bad start in his campaign after finishing in 55th place in the men’s individual all-around of the 52nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium on Sunday morning.

Yulo only got a total score of 67.765 points on all six apparatuses and could be in danger of missing out on the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Only the best eight gymnasts who have not yet booked a ticket to the Summer Games will reach the Olympics.

Yulo’s biggest failures were in the still rings and the vault where he failed to stick the landing in those apparatuses.

This is the first time Yulo competed in the world championships without Japanese coach Munehiro Kugimiya, his mentor since 2016.
