PLDT boosted its firepower for the coming Premier Volleyball League All-Fillipino Conference by signing Filipino-Canadian Savannah Davison.
The High Speed Hitters officially welcomed their latest addition on the wing in a social media post Wednesday night.
In our pursuit of our #highspeedUPGRADE mantra, we searched far and wide recruitment-wise.
And in that hunt we found Filipino-Canadian Savannah Davison as the perfect addition to the PLDT team.

The 5-foot-9 outside spiker has an impressive resume. She played in the US NCAA Division 1 for both the University of Oklahoma and the New Mexico State University.
“We found Filipino-Canadian Savannah Davison as the perfect addition to the PLDT team. Athletic, smart, and fun, she is someone we can’t wait for you to witness,” according to PLDT’s statement.
Davison’s addition will give PLDT another option on the wing and is expected to fill in for injured Jovy Prado, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear during the PVL Invitational Conference.
“Something I look forward to in this conference is to see the competition. I’ve heard so much about volleyball in the Philippines and I can’t wait to experience it,” Davison shared.
She will join the High Speed Hitters veterans in Rhea Dimaculangan, Mika Reyes, Kath Arado, Dell Palomata, and Mean Mendrez.
Davison will make her debut on 15 October as PLDT faces off with sister-team Cignal at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The High Speed Hitters finished fourth in the first serving of All-Filipino Conference this year and fifth in the Invitational Conference.
