Delos Santos 19th in Japan

Filipino Justin delos Santos came through with a 68 on Sunday to salvage a share of 19th at the close of the ACN Championship Golf at Sanko Golf Club’s Japan course.

The 28-year-old Delos Santos finished at eight-under 280, nine shots behind the champion. He pocketed 1,075,000 yen or roughly P408,000.

Juvic Pagunsan limped home with an 80 to finish at 62nd place with a purse of 227,000 yen or P86,000.

Japanese Yuka Inamori claimed the crown with a 17-under 271 powered by his 66 in the final round. He ran away with the top prize of 20 million yen (or P7.8 million).

He beat via playoff South Korean Young-han Sung who settled for 10 million yen (P3.9 million).
