La Salle downs Adamson to capture third win

De La Salle University picked up its third win after shutting down Adamson University, 71-58, in the UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament at the MOA Arena Wednesday evening.

It was a double-double night for the Green Archers as Kevin Quiambao got 17 points and 10 rebounds while Evan Nelle had 12 points and 15 rebounds.

DLSU currently shares second place with National University with similar 3-1 win-loss records.

Earlier, the Bulldogs delivered an 87-69 win over the University of Santo Tomas.

Mike Malonzo scored 14 points for NU with Jolo Manansala following suit with 13 markers.
