Delos Santos’ 68 propels him to 34th

Justin delos Santos turned in a 68 on Saturday but still remains eight shots off the pace in the Japan Open at the Ibaraki Country Club West Course.

The Filipino now has a three-day total of two-over 212 for solo 34th place with several other players finishing the third round.

His countryman Juvic Pagunsan is five shots further after a second straight 73 in the 210 million yen or roughly P79.9 million.

Japanese Sijung Hiramoto took the clubhouse lead following a 65 for a 204 total, leading compatriot  Tomoharu Otsuki at 205 after a 67. Naoyuki Kataoka carded a 66 which alled him to assemble a 206.

Yusaku Hosano is a shot behind at third place after firing a 66 in the tourney which rewards the champion with 42 million yen or P15.9 million.
