Juvic heads Pinoy charge in Japan, Asian Tours

Juvic Pagunsan, fresh from his shared eighth-place finish last week, will lead a slew of Filipino shot-makers buckling down to work this weekend in two of the region’s richest circuits.

The 45-year-old Pagunsan took the second round lead only settle for T8 at the close of the Mynavi ABC Open in the Japan Tour.

Now he will tag along fellow Filipino Justin delos Santos in the 200-million-yen Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Masters starting Thursday.

In the Asian Tour, Miguel Tabuena, Angelo Que, Justin Quiban and Lloyd Go will see action in the Hong Kong Open at the Hong Kong Golf Club.

Tabuena, the current No. 2 in the AT Order of Merit, is expected to a splash in the 9 to 12 November tournament which dangles $2 million.
