Azkals force draw vs Indonesia in World Cup qualifiers

The Philippine Azkals settled for a 1-1 draw against Indonesia in the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium Tuesday evening.

Patrick Reichelt opened the scoring for the Philippines in the 23rd minute before Saddil Ramdani scored an equalizer in the 70th minute.

The Azkals remained at third place in Group F with a 0-1-1 win-draw-loss record in front of 9,880 spectators.

This is the final match of the Azkals in the qualifers for 2023 as the remainder of the games will be held in 2024.
