Like an ultra-expensive item inside a jewelry shop. That’s one description that crosses one’s mind upon seeing Hyundai Motor Philippines’ pop-up booth featuring its upcoming 6th generation Santa Fe.
The glass-enclosed display booth is located along the busy walkway of C1 Park near the BGC amphitheater in Taguig City, which the public can visit until 12 January.
In terms of exterior look, the all-new Santa Fe (the one on display is in Terracotta Orange hue, one of the model’s six body color options) is vastly different from the current model.
The much-awaited model also offers more legroom and rear space. Worth noting is the second and third row seats which can be folded flat, creating more space.
The all-new Santa Fe’s bigger dimension is meant to attract buyers who love the outdoors like campers and overlanders.
This is the reason the new seven-seater SUV could also accommodate rooftop tents (imagine yourself sipping coffee or just relaxing while your Santa Fe is parked in a campsite) and has a wider tailgate, allowing easy entry of larger adventure gear.
Though price and specs are yet to be revealed, note that the previous model is priced at P2.42 million, so at least it gives buyers an idea of the price range of the soon to be released Santa Fe SUV model.
According Hyundai Motor Philippines, the launch will be within the first quarter of 2024.
