Nueva Ecija barely broke out a sweat and claimed another hapless victim in RCP Demigod Shawarma Shack, 100-73, in the resumption of the PSL President’s Cup at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Michael Juico made all but two shots from the field to lead the way for the Capitals as he poured in 15 points while shooting 6-of-8 from the field.

Ralph Robin added 12, Kalen Doromal chipped in 11 and Chris Bitoon produced 10 for the Capitals, who extended their winning run to eight and moved up to solo lead in the team standings.

Nueva Ecija led a night of routs as Novaliches and JT Taipan Bulacan also posted victories in similar fashion.

The Warriors of Novaliches pulled away late in the game to score a 92-72 dumping of Manila, while JT Taipan Bulacan clobbered NKT Sniper, 104-61.

Novaliches outscored Manila, 31-15, in the fourth period after a close encounter as Jhonel Bauzon, Deo Timajo, Jason Strait and John Ambulodto joined forces for the Warriors, who now improved their win-loss record to 4-4.
