Behind three of its best-performing models, Ford Philippines announced it breached the 30,000 sales milestone last year. This is the company’s third highest full-year retail sales achievement in a span of a decade, with the last one attained in 2017.

In 2023, Ford Philippines’ full-year sales grew by 27 percent to 31,320, driven by the Next-Gen Ford vehicle lineup namely: the Ranger pickup truck, Territory crossover SUV, and Everest midsize SUV.

“We are immensely proud of this huge accomplishment that solidified our position in the industry amid a very dynamic, challenging and competitive environment,” said Mike Breen, Ford Philippines managing director.

“We thank our customers, dealers, employees, communities and partners for their continued trust, support, and collaboration. We remain committed to bringing our segment-leading vehicles, innovative services, and impactful customer experiences to the Filipino motoring public.”

The Ranger was the best-selling Ford vehicle last year, with sales rising 16 percent to 13,234 units. It was also the best-selling 4×4 pickup truck in the country with a market share of 40 percent, with sales mainly driven by the Ranger Raptor which was launched in the first half of 2023.

Designed and engineered by Ford Performance, the Ranger Raptor is an optimized, high-performance off-road pickup truck equipped with a reliable, powerful and efficient powertrain, smart technology and advanced safety features to elevate the standard of off-road driving.

Like its predecessor, the Next-Gen Raptor showcases a commanding look and presence on its exterior, while delivering comfort and convenience inside.

Another bestseller

The Territory also contributed significantly to Ford Philippines’ retail performance, with sales reaching 9,119 units last year. It also maintained its leadership in the compact SUV segment for the fourth consecutive year with a market share of 44 percent.

The Next-Gen Territory, launched at the Manila International Auto Show in April 2023, boasts an eye-catching contemporary design, premium interiors, efficient performance, and advanced features that follow Ford’s highest global quality standards.

In October 2023, the Next-Gen Territory breached the 5,000-sales mark only five months after its launch.

This brought Ford Territory’s overall sales to over 25,000 units since its market introduction in August 2020, a testament to its sustained popularity and appeal among first-time car buyers, young professionals, and small families who are looking for a smart, safe and stylish SUV.

The Everest also sustained its wide appeal and popularity among Filipino customers who love bigger SUVs, with full-year sales growing by 142 percent to 8,569 vehicles.

The Everest steadily enjoys a growing number of owners for its blend of adventure-ready capability, exceptional comfort, and customer-focused technology in a rugged, refined, and fun to drive SUV.

Enhanced ownership experience

Ford Philippines last year, reinforced its commitment to an enhanced ownership experience with the launch of service convenience initiatives under the Ford Family Guarantee program.

Launched in the early part of the year were Express Service, a 90-minute program designed to service vehicles in a faster and more efficient way than regular maintenance.

Pickup and Delivery allows participating Ford dealers to pick up the vehicles from customers, perform service on the vehicles, and bring the vehicles back to the customers’ preferred location.

In the latter part of the year, Ford expanded the list of initiatives to include Online Service Booking which allows customers to conveniently book service appointments anytime and anywhere at their preferred Ford dealership;

Service Price Calculator, a helpful tool that allows customers to know in advance the estimated Periodic Maintenance Schedule service pricing, based on the vehicle model and selected Ford dealer, prior to the actual service appointment.

For a worry-free ownership experience, Ford is also offering a 5-year warranty for the Ranger, Everest and Territory.
