Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines teams are starting to make roster movements heading into Season 13.
Reigning champion AP Bren had let go of coach Vrendon “Vren” Pesebre while RSG PH dropped assistant coach John “Theo” Theo and gold laner Emann “Emann” Sangco ahead of Season 13 of the prestigious Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event.
Vren, who is often tagged as the silent operator who helped AP Bren become the lone team to win an M-Series world championship twice, has transferred to RRQ Hoshi of MPL Indonesia.
“Coach Vren became an integral part of our success in 2023. His dedication and leadership were key to our growth as a team,” AP Bren announced.
“His unwavering belief in our players pushed them beyond their limits to become a better version of themselves. But for now, our journey with him ends here.”
Vren, for his part, has remained silent regarding the transfer until it was announced by RRQ Hoshi itself.
AP Bren thanked its former coach, wishing him nothing but the best moving forward.
“Thank you, Coach Vren! The future may hold new paths, but we’re grateful to be one of your stopovers as you continue to achieve greater things in your career. Go conquer the world,” the club said, referring to Vren who also coached Bigetron Alpha and TNC Pro Team.
Prior to AP Bren, RSG PH made a big move when it released Theo.
“It’s official. Coach Theo is now signing off as the assistant coach of RSG Philippines. As a coach and player that players could lean on, your lessons will remain with RSG not only in tournaments but in other aspects as human beings,” RSG announced.
“Thank you for being part of our success in MPLI 2023. We achieved this together. Remain eager in the path you choose. We are here to support you.”
But what caught the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community off-guard, however, was the release Emann.
One of the key players of RSG PH since MPL Season 8, Emann was part of the team’s ups and downs for over a couple of years.
