Gilas Pilipinas Women braces for a tough field including nine foreign squads in its title defense in the Manila Hustle 3×3 Season 2 set on 3 to 4 February at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
The Nationals lead six other Filipino squads making a homestand in the international-flavored tourney presented by Uratex and Smart where a $3,000 top purse is at stake.
Gilas will be joined by Uratex Dream and Uratex Tibay along with Titans, Army Altama, Discovery Perlas, and Bluefire LPG.
However, the local bets will have their hands full with the return of Dinoman Hansol of Korea, Owls.EXE and Zoos Tokyo of Japan, Shoot It Dragons of Thailand, and Jumpshot of Singapore.
Also in the fray are Japanese team Tokyo Dime, Unicle of Korea, Royals Basketball of Australia, and Shiv Nadar School of India.
Macbeth Lady Riots, led by reigning Most Valuable Player Kaycee dela Rosa, ruled Season 1 last year after fending off Army Altama in the championship game.
