Jonathan Pagaura gets the opportunity to finally hit paydirt when he banners a star-studded roster in the 5150 CamSur taking place on 11 February in Camarines Sur.
Pagaura had his best chance in 2022 when he placed fourth overall in Bohol where Satar Salem emerged as winner.
Last year, Pagaura placed a dismal ninth when the event was staged in Dapitan.
Representing Team Core Pacific Money Exchange, the 27-year-old Pagaura, a native of Bohol, is aching to win it this time.
Joining him in this quest is Emil Lorbes, the pride and joy of The Next Step Tri.
Driven by a strong resolve to improve upon his fourth place finish in 5150 Dapitan, topped by Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Fernando Casares, Lorbes is likewise gearing up for a strong showing.
But the tandem faces solid competition from an international field, featuring entries from Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, France, Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Singapore and Turkey.
