Uratex tries to keep its winning streak going as it takes on Gilas-A in the resumption of the Women’s PBA 3×3 Invitational on Monday.

The Dream go in Week 2 of the tournament at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay carrying with them a perfect 2-0 slate as they look to add the national team to its list of victims.

The team of coach Katrina Quimpo defeated Angelis Resort, 20-15, and Air Force, 19-16, in last week’s opener to take the early lead in the six-team tournament making its comeback after a seven-year hiatus.

The Uratex-Gilas-A tussle kicks off a five-game elimination round schedule for the day, which will also see the Dream battle Gilas-B later on.

Games start at 3:35 p.m.

Philippine Navy-Go-For-Gold is looking to keep in step with Uratex when it goes for win No. 2 opposite Angelis Resort in the second game.

The Lady Sailors kicked off their campaign with a 14-10 victory over Gilas-B behind former University Athletic Association of the Philippines Finals Most Valuable Player Trixie Antiquera.

The Lady Splashers on the other hand, are eyeing to make a fitting follow-up to their thrilling 19-17 upset of Gilas-A in overtime to even their record at 1-1 in a tie with Gilas-B, which booked its first win at the expense of Gilas-A, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Philippine Air Force and Gilas-A face each other in the battle of winless teams.

Gilas-A is currently at the bottom of the standings at 0-2 after losses to Gilas-B and Angelis Resort, while Air Force lost its initial outing against Uratex for a 0-1 slate.

The final game for the day will have the Philippine Navy-Go-For-Gold taking on Philippine Air Force.

The top four teams after the three-week eliminations will advance in the crossover semis set on 19 February.
