New UnionBank Shell Power Credit Card is a must-have for motorists

WHILE guests enjoyed culinary delights prepared by Grand Hyatt Manila’s executive chef Mark Hagan, a few were lucky enough to drive the Maserati MC20 supercar which is not only insanely powerful (zero to 100 in 2.9 seconds) but also ridiculously expensive (somewhere north of P30 million since this MC20 is custom-made).

In football and in some other sports, a red card is the most serious penalty a player can receive for a foul he or she has committed. But getting Union Bank’s red card, which is the color of the New UnionBank Shell Power Credit Card, is nothing of that sort. In fact, you’ll love the rewards this UnionBank card brings: a high rebate of 5 percent or up to P4 off per liter on Shell fuels, an P8 discount per liter on your first fuel purchase, a 10-percent discount on Shell lubricants in Shell stations through Shell Go+, a 5-percent rebate on toll and auto shops nationwide, and even zero annual fees for life if you apply for the card no later than 30 April 2024.

“The UnionBank Shell Power Credit Card transforms the customer’s experience because it is where convenience, rewards, and empowerment converge. We are excited to bring this new card to market and drive our customers to fuel their aspirations,” said Manoj Varma, head of Consumer Banking of UnionBank, during the card’s launch held at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City.

THE launch held at the Penthouse No. 66 of the Grand Hyatt Manila was also graced by (from left) Wilhelm Samson, Visa Cards product head of UnionBank; Ma. Randy del Valle, Shell Pilipinas Corporation vice president and general manager for mobility, said the card is a product of a partnership that spans an impressive 25 years. “At Shell, we’re all about making the journeys of our customers better, and this collaboration with UnionBank sets out to do just that, by providing more value for our customers. Whether they’re going to Shell for fuels, stopping over at Shell Café for a break or ensuring their car is road worthy — the UnionBank Shell Power Credit Card has something to help you along your way. Kasabay mo kami sa pagsulong (We go hand-in-hand in progress).”
