Yahor Sharamkou of Belarus won the gold medal with 14.933 points while Kazuki Minami of Japan got a silver medal with a score of 14.666 points.
Yulo’s bronze is the country’s second medal in the World Cup series this year after Filipino-American gymnast Emma Malabuyo picked up a silver medal in the Cairo leg last February.
Malabuyo, a University of California-Los Angeles gymnast, has a chance to add another medal as she is set to compete in the final of the women’s floor exercise.
Also set to play in an apparatus final for the Philippines is Levi Ruivivar as she booked a spot in the women’s uneven bars medal round.
Ruivivar finished in sixth place in the preliminary round after getting a score of 13.466 points.
