In a significant recognition of its unwavering commitment to fiscal responsibility and community contribution, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has been awarded as one of the most outstanding taxpayers by the Department of Trade and Industry along with the Provincial Government of Laguna.
The prestigious accolade was presented during the vibrant 2024 Anilag Festival held in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, on 15 March, underscoring IPC’s pivotal role in the economic prosperity of the region.
The ceremony, a highlight of the week-long Anilag Festival, was graced by the presence of the Honorable Governor of Laguna, Ramil Hernandez, who personally handed the certificate of recognition to IPC.
This marks the second consecutive year IPC has received this honor, reflecting its consistent adherence to tax obligations, ethical business practices, and substantial contributions to the local economy of Biñan City.
Gov. Hernandez commended the awardees for their exceptional civic responsibility and contributions to Laguna’s growth; stating that they are the backbone of its local economy, demonstrating an exemplary model of corporate citizenship and fiscal integrity.
This latest recognition is not just a testament to IPC’s financial contributions but also highlights its role in fostering sustainable economic growth and development in the community.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition for the second time. It reaffirms our commitment to good governance, compliance with government regulations, and our dedication to supporting the community we operate in,” said Imelda Bernas, IPC assistant vice president for administration.
“This award is a result of the collective effort of our employees, stakeholders, and the local government, working together towards a common goal of prosperity and development.”
