ComChest, SIKAP hold karate training

SOCIAL MEDIA

The Community Chest Foundation Inc. (ComChest) and Sikaran-Karate Association of the Philippines (SIKAP) recently launched their Wellness Program-Free Karate Lesson for the benefit of the youth and seniors sectors.

It was a successful launching as the students have undergone MAEL-INTO, the basic karate drills from No. 1 to 12 forms and the basis of their promotion from white belt to green belt and their belting graduation will be held on 2 May.

After the basic karate drills, the next program will be concentrated on self-discipline and defense as well as pinan and the kata, which are crucial to the students’ promotion to the next higher positions — the brown and black belts.

Dr. Cindy Dollente Ang, executive director of ComChest, and Manny Inserto, national president and training instructor of SIKAP, announced that the next registration will be from 4 April to 1 May at the ComChest Center, Malate, Manila.
