TNC Pro Team head coach Ben “Benthings” Maglaque is convinced that they only need one more win to get out of the losing slump.
After three weeks of Mobile Legends Professional League PH Season 13, TNC Pro Team finds itself at No. 7 of the ladder with a sorry record of 1-5 followed by a winless Omega.
Though the revamped TNC Pro Team roster has shown potential, the squad has struggled to win a series thus far except for a 2-1 victory over Blacklist International in Week 2.
“Maybe it just takes one win. Just one win, and we would not lose again. Just one win. I know the team’s full potential but we need confidence,” Benthings explained.
“Even if we motivate the players, it is different when we see the result (from a win). Just one win, promise, you will see the form of TNC in Season 13. We just need momentum.”
This is not the first time that TNC is outside of the top six. Since Season 10, TNC Pro Team has ended the regular season at the bottom at no.8, failing to qualify for the Playoffs every single time.
Rebuilding has been done and even Benthings has been moved from being a player to coach, yet TNC Pro Team remains outside of the top six and is in danger again of not making the Playoffs.
If only the team can get past the pressure they are facing, Benthings is convinced that TNC’s fate would begin to change.
“Pressure, it is 100 percent pressure,” Benthings answered when asked what is keeping them from winning.
